Any ideas on how to entice the birds back without totally alienating the squirrel?

Sue xsheffsuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05395337933228104188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010205581466252078.post-67488496599960308182008-10-13T09:02:00.000+01:002008-10-13T09:02:00.000+01:00I love watching the birds & squirrels in our g...I love watching the birds & squirrels in our garden too. I read an article the other day about someone who had a bird feeder attached on their washing line (the pole to pole type) and was getting fed up with the squirrels always eating the nuts before the birds. Answer given to stop this happening was to grease the washing line poles with vaseline!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010205581466252078.post-39183877939700905222008-10-13T08:03:00.000+01:002008-10-13T08:03:00.000+01:00Awwww so glad that a squirrel has found your bird ...Awwww so glad that a squirrel has found your bird feeder as they are quite entertaining to watch. The squirrels that come into our garden are like Greta's and bury things. Hope birds find you soon.

Sylv xxBudgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16279106633832550695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010205581466252078.post-88381156488105000962008-10-12T08:38:00.000+01:002008-10-12T08:38:00.000+01:00Birds won't stand a chance now Pam - lol! If they're hungry enough & can't knock them off they chew the plastic till it breaks as well. Keep us amused too! Lucky you don't have a lawn. Ours is full of little holes where they have dug up the nuts they hid earlier - lol.
Hope the Gretahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14236376739325852127noreply@blogger.com
