Getting there ...

... back to normal-ish, that is *LOL*  Can't believe how jet-lagged I've felt and still do.  I've slept like a baby the past 2 nights which is most unusual for me but I'm still feeling tired around mid to late afternoon.  Today I had a chiropodist appointment and called in to see how Dad's managed while I've been away.  It seems he's managed fine and been well looked after but I get back and he starts raising 'problems' which obviously haven't worried him while I've been away.  I'm coming to the conclusion that it's his way of having some sort of conversation - or at least having a subject for conversation.

Paul and I have been invited to stay with one of his friends in New Zealand for 2 to 3 months over the Christmas period but I'm not sure we could really do that length of time away from Dad.  Think I need to speak to the carers to find out if they'd be happy with me being away for so long - or we compromise and just do a few weeks.  Anyway, it's not a 'this year' type of thing so we've time to sort something out if we decide to go .... although I'd love to.

Photos from Bali are gradually being gone through so hopefully will be able to start posting soon.  It won't be such a long job as the African ones as there are well under half the amount of photos taken this time.  I've got to start preparing my shoebox card for the Crafter's House Party in just over a month.  Busy times so best get out of this lethargy and get going :0)

Thanks for dropping by .....

My Mam sounds like your Dad Pam, when I am away there are no problems but as soon as she sees me there are about 10 and like you I think it is her way of conversation LOL. Not even thought about my shoebox yet.
