... excited!! Look what found my new bird feeding station this evening - lol!!
Cheeky little thing found the lowest peanut feeder and knocked it to the ground - and more than once! I was hoping that a squirrel would find us but didn't anticipate that it would be before the birds did - lol!!
At least this little fella has a nice bushy tail - unlike our foxes - lol!! He let me get quite close to him as well, hence the photo's.
Thanks for dropping by .....

Birds won't stand a chance now Pam - lol! We often find squirrels upside down on our nut holders with their tails wrapped round them. If they're hungry enough & can't knock them off they chew the plastic till it breaks as well. Keep us amused too! Lucky you don't have a lawn. Ours is full of little holes where they have dug up the nuts they hid earlier - lol.
Hope the birds find you soon. x
Awwww so glad that a squirrel has found your bird feeder as they are quite entertaining to watch. The squirrels that come into our garden are like Greta's and bury things. Hope birds find you soon.

I love watching the birds & squirrels in our garden too. I read an article the other day about someone who had a bird feeder attached on their washing line (the pole to pole type) and was getting fed up with the squirrels always eating the nuts before the birds. Answer given to stop this happening was to grease the washing line poles with vaseline!
Started feeding the birds last year. Unfortunately "our" squirrel has frightened the birds off the feeders....they will only eat off the ground. Any ideas on how to entice the birds back without totally alienating the squirrel?
